THE BEGINNING

Psyckophony es un grupo de power/speed metal con tintes progresivos, de amplia trayectoria
nacional e internacional. Aborda temas prehispánicos,ciencia ô€ƒ¶cción y metáforas politica y social. Psyckophony
se forma en el año 2005 y en 2006 saca su demo Ep "Voices from far beyond" que promociona
junto a la agrupación "Miseria humana" con el Tijuana Sangrienta Tour el mismo año.En
2008 graba un Ep llamado maquetas que contiene algunos temas que aparecerían en los Lp´s "In the
eyes of the beast" y "Masters of fear" .

Psyckophony es etiimológicamente sonidos del alma.El uso de la letra "k" en lugar de “h” es para
enfatizar la palabra psyche .

¨Based on "Before the Winter", these folks epic/pagan retro thrash, at least in the 1st half, recalling the Dutch Bifrost and early Skyclad the latter also "courted" in the vocal department with good hoarse, semi-clean tirades. The title-track is an awesome folk-ish shredder fitting well the more aggressive material, like the shorter headbbangers "Guardians Of Mankind" (you have to hear the gorgeous leads on this one!) and the dramatic, pounding masterpiece "Wrath Of Gods".
